Year of the child / Social commitment
One of my clients chose 2014 as the year of the child and needed a symbol for the international, group-wide promotion of it. In that special year all the social support was focused on the young generation.
The logo is playing with negative space and depicts the hand of a child which is grabbing an adult hand. It has been in use for several print projects (invitations, banners), events(company’s „children day“) as well as the promotion theme in the company's e-mail signature.
And the commitment goes on: The year of the child was the start of a new series, where the motto changes every two years. In 2016/17 they have especially supported handicapped people and 2018/19 have been the years of people in general need.
